Who is eligible? +
Any registered member accepted into a recognized post-secondary or trades program. Call the department before you apply if you are unsure where your program sits.
What happens if I miss the 20th? +
Your next payment holds until the declaration comes in. It is not a penalty and it is not permanent. Send it late and call, and the hold lifts.
Can I get funding for a second program? +
Usually yes, depending on what you completed and what you are proposing. This one is a conversation, not a form.
What if I fail a course? +
Call before the semester ends, not after. A bad term is workable. Going quiet for four months is what makes it hard to help.
Do I have to study full time? +
Full-time enrollment is the default for the living allowance. Part-time support is handled case by case.
If the answer is no
A decision is a conversation, not a door closing.
Call the department before you do anything else and ask what the file was missing. Most refusals come down to a document that never arrived or a program that needs a second look, and that call is usually faster than any form.
