What happens
Your account goes. The decision trail stays.
Ask, and the department removes your sign-in and your profile. You will not be able to see the community events calendar afterward, and you can always request access again later.
| Field | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your email | Removed from the sign-in system and from your profile. |
| Your name | Removed. |
| Your password | Removed. It was only ever a hash and nobody could read it anyway. |
| Approval record | Kept, with your name and email stripped out. What remains is that a request was decided on a date by an administrator. |
The honest part
Why a record survives.
The department keeps an anonymised note that a decision was made, not who it was about. That is normal for any body that has to be able to answer for its own decisions later.
What that means in practice is that after a removal, nothing in the system points back to you. There is a row saying an access request was decided on a date, and nothing attached to it.
One detail is still being settled. Exactly how long a removed account takes to clear the system, and whether anything is retained beyond the anonymised decision record, is being confirmed by the department.
Until it is, ask and someone will tell you precisely what happened to your record. Nobody will give you a vague answer.
| Detail | Status |

| Time to remove | |
| Anything retained beyond the decision record |
What we cannot delete
Two things are not ours to remove.
Anything to do with a purchase
Store orders are placed by email at the moment, so a purchase lives in the band office inbox and in whatever record the office keeps of it. Businesses are required to keep transaction records for years, so those cannot be removed on request.
If a payment processor is added later, it will hold its own record under its own policy, and this page will name it. Ask the band office what exists for your order and they will tell you.
Your student file
If you have applied for post-secondary funding, that file lives with the Education Department, not on this website. Deleting your website account does not touch it, and it is governed by the program’s own record-keeping rules.
Call the post-secondary desk on (306) 466-4959 about that one.
How to ask
Send this. A person reads it.
There is no automated button, and that is on purpose. The department confirms it is really you before removing an account, and a request arriving from your own email address is that confirmation. Fill this in and it opens an email.
Stored in this browser
Separately from any account, this site keeps a couple of small things on your own device: your ticks on the application checklist, and a flag noting you have seen the front page animation. Neither is ever sent anywhere and nobody but you can read them.
Typical turnaround: a few business days. Last reviewed:
Rather just phone?
That works too. Ask for the Education Department and say you want your website account removed.
