What you need

Most applications that stall are missing one document, not because anything was wrong with them. Work through this first and the rest is a single form.

Start here

The application form One form covers the whole program. Download it on the apply page, or call the office and they will send you a copy.
Your letter of acceptance From the school, for the program you are starting. A conditional acceptance is usually fine, but call and check rather than waiting on it.
Your status card or band number The office confirms your membership itself, but have this to hand in case they need it from you.

Sent with the application

Your most recent transcript High school or post-secondary, whichever you finished last.
Your program details Name, length, start date, and what it costs. The school’s own page usually has all four.
A direct deposit form So the monthly payments can reach you. Your bank can print one, or it is in your banking app.
To be confirmedThe office may ask for something else depending on your program. Anything extra gets listed here once it is confirmed, and until then a phone call is the fastest way to be sure.

Before you send it

Keep a copy of everything Photograph every page before it leaves your hands. If anything goes missing in the post you are not starting over.
Save the number in your phone (306) 466-4959. You will want it at some point over the next four years, usually on a day when finding it is the last thing you feel like doing.
Call about anything unclear A wrong answer on the form costs more time than the phone call would have. Nobody minds the question.

Where to send it

If something is missing

Send it anyway and say what is coming.

A file waiting on one transcript still gets started. Note what is outstanding when you send it in and your counsellor can work around the gap instead of sitting on the whole thing.

Working off paper

Print it and tick it by hand.

The printed version comes out as a clean sheet with empty boxes, no colour and no ticks. Useful if you are sorting documents on a kitchen table, or if someone is helping you put the application together.
